Sharon Asro Faber (Sarah) is a passionate elementary, middle and high school educator with a rich educational background of her own. Sharon holds a BA in Theatre from Brandeis University, an MBA from NYU and Tel Aviv Graduate Schools of Business, and an M.Ed in Multicultural Education from George Mason University. She is an award-winning Theatre and ESOL teacher who earned the Distinguished Service to Public Education Award in 2022 from the largest jurisdiction in the state of MD. As the granddaughter of the founders and superstars of the world-renowned Vilna Troupe who originated The Dybbuk, Sharon has given Yiddish theatre presentations in NYC, and has led meaningful Bibliodrama workshops at Pearlstone Jewish Retreat Center. She also gives d’var Torahs at Aish Center of Greater Washington, and uplifts spirits at song circles she leads with her guitar at Jewish women’s gatherings in Baltimore. Sharon grew up in Queens, NYC and lives in North Bethesda, MD.
