Eliana Worenklein is a Jewish educator based in Brooklyn, NY, with formative roots in White Plains, NY. She is passionate about helping Jews of diverse backgrounds develop confidence, fluency, and ownership in Jewish practice. Eliana has taught math and Jewish Studies to middle schoolers, and has also served as Tefillah faculty, mentoring students as they learned to lead prayer and develop Torah literacy and ritual skills. She is deeply involved at Prospect Heights Shul, where she mentors and supports women’s ritual participation and helps create meaningful opportunities for women’s engagement with Torah. Eliana also tutors b’not mitzvah, guiding students toward ritual confidence and a sense of ownership over their Jewish learning.
Eliana holds a BA in Psychology and Yiddish Studies from Barnard College and a Master’s in Mathematics Education from Touro University. She has learned at Drisha, Pardes, and Hadar, and previously worked at Yeshivat Maharat as a Digital Content Associate. She is excited to pursue semikha and to continue sharing Torah in accessible and empowering ways.
