The Irene and Julius Horowitz z”l Bioethics and Halakha Series

Halakhic Responses to the Medical Assistance in Dying Bill

As Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) laws continue to expand, Jewish communities are grappling with profound questions about dignity, autonomy, and the sanctity of life. This year’s Irene and Julius Horowitz z”l Bioethics and Halakha Series invites you into this urgent and nuanced conversation. Join Dr. Kenneth Prager and Rabbi Jeffrey Fox for a thoughtful exploration of Jewish legal and ethical perspectives on end-of-life care. The program will also feature a practical Halakhic Healthcare Directive Workshop led by Bassie Taubes, RN, equipping participants with the tools to approach these decisions with clarity and confidence.
