Summer Gemara Intensive 2026

Spend eight weeks learning Talmud with Yeshivat Maharat. This summer, for the first time, we will be offering two levels. Intermediate gemara will be taught by Rabbanit Zissy Turner, and Advanced gemara will be taught by Maharat Gemara Faculty Dr. Rachel Rosenthal.

The intermediate gemara shiur will focus on gaining a deeper understanding of the gemara on the daf through a close reading of the gemara itself, and build skills for using Rashi to increase comprehension.

The advanced gemara shiur will use the gemara and rishonim to pay particular attention to both the smallest details of the text and the larger meta narrative created by Chazal.
