All membership inquiries are reviewed carefully and acceptance into Revava is not guaranteed. The membership year runs September 1-August 31.

Alumnae & Torah Leader Network

Revava Alumnae Network LogoRevava enables members to succeed in their sacred work in service of Am Yisrael by becoming part of a mutually supporting community, fostering continued learning and professional growth, providing pastoral support, practical advice, and quick access to resources.

Revava offers:

Professional growth through the Career Lab, including:

    • transition support, professional coaching, and leadership development
    • professional consultation (eg resumes, contracts)
    • advanced study and theological/spiritual growth
    • visibility to promote members’ work, writing, and celebrate success

Community/pastoral support as the rabbinate can be a high burnout profession

Resources so you don’t have to reinvent the wheel

    • Resource Bank with quick access to material
    • Speaker’s Bureau with gig portal and promoting our talent
    • Rabbi’s Rabbi for advanced halakhic guidance

Funding

To join:

  • Members must have Maharat semikha or equivalent learning (transcript, resume/CV submission requested with application)
  • Materials are reviewed by the acceptance committee
  • Applicants who have not graduated from Maharat must meet with Maharat’s Rosh Yeshiva and President ahead of acceptance
