Rabba Dr. Yedida Eisenstat holds a Ph.D. in medieval Jewish biblical interpretation from the Jewish Theological Seminary and semikha from Yeshivat Maharat. She has taught at York University and Colgate University, and currently serves as associate editor at the Posen Library of Jewish Culture and Civilization, a digital anthology spanning three millennia of Jewish life. She also co-hosts “Not in Heaven,” a weekly podcast on contemporary Jewish life. Her scholarship focuses on the Bible and its interpretation from antiquity to the present.
