Counting Up, Counting Down

Every year, but perhaps this year more than ever, the time between Passover and Shavuot exists as a liminal space. During the Omer, we are both counting the days since we went free from Egypt, and waiting with anticipation to receive the Torah. This year, during the seven weeks of the Omer, Maharat will share seven pieces of Torah from students on the theme of "Counting Up, Counting Down," each answering the question of what it means to be both in and between things in different ways.
