Sarah Pincus
Core Semikha, Class of 2026
Sarah Pincus is a second year student at Yeshivat Maharat. When she’s not in the beit midrash, Sarah serves as the rabbinic intern for Columbia graduate students, works with incredible high school and college students across the country though the Shalom Hartman Institute, and supports women in their final steps of their conversion process. She is looking forward to completing a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at NYP-Columbia this summer. Before attending Maharat, she taught and has held administrative positions in a variety of educational settings including Camp Stone, Friendship Circle, the Genesis Program at Brandeis University, the Drisha Institute, and the Maimonides School. Sarah also spent a few years working doing community organizing and political advocacy. Sarah studied at Midreshet Lindenbaum after high school, Sarah attended Binghamton University where she earned a BA in Politics, Philosophy & Law, and a Master’s in Public Administration. Sarah lives on the Upper West Side and can found scouting out cute coffee shops and exploring different neighborhoods in the city.
